EEFIE Ioannina

EEFIE is a non-govermental, non-profit scientific organisation, directed to all Greek medical students, both in Greece and abroad. It started back in 1993 by a small group of students, and today it is a large, structured association, with branches in all Greek Medical Schools. EEFIE has a powerful scientific presence, through its activities. It counts more than 2000 members.
Despite all these, EEFIE is still what it was it the beginning: a (rather big) group of fellow med students, with common concerns and common interests on medical affairs and science in general. We seek to cultivate cooperation and voluntary action among students, in order to promote our skills, capabilities and social role. Our basic principle: common work and effort from each member, in proportion to everybody's ability and will. Our motive (besides our thirst to knowledge): the will to tighten our frendship and collective spirit with each other.
The Ioannina branch participates in all country-wide activities - like the "Scientific Congress of Greek Medical Students", organised every year. But also, as an autonomous unit, it organises activities of its own.
Our office is located in the Medical School building, in the University of
Ioannina. Every student who wants to become a member, can go there. Our office
is always open every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 13-15p.m., but nevertheless
it is usually open all the time...
